Got the call from my girls step dad to break in a pair of new Mecury 150's and drink some beer. Decided we might as well pull a spread during our beer drinking adventure. Ended up with 4 dolphin. Smaller 3 in the 28-30" range, and the big one went 43lbs. There wasn't a favorite bait among the fish today. One ate an islander/ballyhoo (green/yellow) on a downrigger 65' down, one ate a pink/white rattle jet, one ate a naked chin-weighted ballyhoo, and the big guy ate a pink/white dragon-eye. All fish were caught blind between 650-700ft, 3 miles South of the inlet. Fished the same area again Sunday and got the big goose egg.

He said 3 mi out of inlet in 600'-700'. Off Ft Pierce he'd be at least 30 mi out, so it obviously aint FPI!

Hell yea, dude. We managed to catch our buzz too. Especially in celebration. We never get skunked by the buzz. If only fishing was always that consistent
