PC week recap

Fished a total of 4 days since last friday, and pretty much targeted kingfish. the bigger fish have been up north, but if your looking to just get something to bite, head to 8a. the charter guys have been getting their limit of 5lb. fish by 10-11 am. the dolphin bite seems to have slowed, but it could fire back up. last friday and sunday(4-17/4-19) pogies were just south of the church. this wednesday and thursday(4-22/4-23) i had to run all the way to PAFB to find them.

Nice report! Cobia from the 8A wrecks? Man it sucks when you have to go all the way south to the steeple, then all the way back up to the 8A. Better off hitting Pelican, or did you?

No, the cobia actually just swam up to the boat as we were changing out baits. Didn't hit pelican or 8a at all, was much further north than 8a. Would've saved me some fuel, but you gotta fish where the fish are biting!

not too close, 20 feet deep, 1/4 mile off
