Is their any lakes or ponds near or in Port St. Lucie that hold these in any numbers ?Closer than Blue Cypress or the Big O
The specks are always there, but, from my personal experience, I have learned that at least up at Lake Okeechobee, that they turn on with the first good cold spell...The month of April just might be a little to late in the year for a decent Speck bite. I can only speak of what happens at the Big O"...not sure of anything further north than that....Good luck, and let us know what you come up with.....
