Went to the backwater/Lake Rousseau to catch some bass. I caught my first mudfish, on a spinnerbait, and one bass on a topwater while Louie cleaned house with a bunch of good bass. He used an original Rapala used as a jerkbait, and a worm for the biggest fish. I tried flipping, spinnerbaits, worms and topwater. Had several blowups on topwater but only one stuck.

I believe we could have caught more (that was a good one you lost) but I didn't want to beat up fish I need for my up coming tourney..
I did have a great time fishing with you while you were here this winter. We'll do some more when you get back . :fishing
