You can always negotiate down, I have had very little luck upping the price during negotiations.

A gun is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. You can ask anything you like but doesn't mean it's worth what you ask.
You should take time and investigate what these are "selling" for. Not what people are asking for them but actual sold prices.
