Naples and surrounding areas on foot?

gigabitegigabite Posts: 5 Greenhorn
I visit in the in-laws in Naples a few times a year and have been fishing Wiggins, Doctors, and Clam passes in the last few years. Anyone have suggestions on other locations accessible by foot? I am willing to drive an hour or so if needed. I am here this week and again in late June.

I am a visitor to that area myself and really enjoy Lover's Key State Park. Easy access, several styles of fishing work, several species, and very accessible.

Check it out and I think you may like it as well.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked it out online and looks like a good spot. I will definitely check it out.

Check out Ding Darling Refuge on Sanibel. There are plenty of wading/shore fishing spots on the causeway over to the island, then fish the wildlife drive concentrating on the water impoundment flow-throughs. Great spot to catch reds, snook, trout, small tarpon, mangrove snapper and sheepshead
