9/30/11 SLI Solo Sails VIDEO ATTACHED!

As I heard seas were going to build for the weekend, I decided I needed one more "fix" before it got rough. This was a "spur of the moment" decision and none of my usual partners in crime were available.
The REEL C's left it's Palm City dock at 2PM , for a solo offshore trip. After clearing the inlet, I was greeted by seas that were starting to get a little "sporty" and a NE wind about 10 MPH. They did settle down as the afternoon progressed. Being alone, I only put out 2 skirted Ballyhoo, A Tuna feather and a couple of teasers at about 80 feet.
I managed to go 6 for 6 on Black Fin Tuna in the 140 to 170 range (all on the feathers) and had on 2 nice Sailfish that fortunately unhooked themselves before they got boatside. Being alone, that it seemed, was the best outcome.
In summary, it was a great afternoon and my friend Bo (Let's Go) called me on the way in and invited me to meet him at his ramp for a cocktail. Thanks Bo!
