Sounds like the undercover team should be charged straight up for false advertising.

Suks that cops have nothing better to do than arrest consenting adults.

Bro, have you ever done Volunteer Work abroad, there is nothing consentual about this, vast majority of these poor girls, and yes they are poor girls, usually previously violated or actually owned. Nothing cool about this at all. Now some hot chick on Wall Street or something may opt for a sugar daddy, but odds are that is legal and she is cool with it. Now this crap, no way.

I'm with you about the exploitation... but add a webcam/$1.99 min audience and it's all of a sudden legit.

    I say that's just odd.

It's not just odd, its inhumane ..... completely

The pornstitution industry in the US is huge. And legal, because it's 'art'.

    any solutions?

...and if it "Suks" like you say it does...and you don't like it...which it appears that you obviously don't...

Then why not go out there and change the law?

Or move to Nevada where it is legal...

    http://wagner.house.gov/Human%20Trafficking%20%26%20Online%20Prostitution%20Advertising

Modern-day slavery exists right here in our communities. It is hiding in plain sight. Every day, children in our own neighborhoods are being sold into forced prostitution. Sexual predators can go online and have child prostitutes sent to their hotel rooms as easily as if they were ordering a pizza.

The Internet has dramatically changed the human trafficking landscape in the United States. Over the last ten years, prostitution has slowly but persistently migrated to an online marketplace. Online classified services, such as Backpage.com, are the vehicles for advertising the victims of the child sex trade to the world. Pimps and traffickers blatantly advertise their victim’s sexual services with provocative photographs and unsubtle messages complete with per hour pricing. The traffickers pay online classified websites like Backpage.com to display their messages and these websites accordingly reap enormous profits at the expense of the victims of sex trafficking.

General Figures on Human Trafficking in the United States:

Human trafficking generates $9.5 billion yearly in the United States. (United Nations)

The average age of entry into prostitution for a child victim in the United States is 13-14 years old. (U.S. Department of Justice)

Drone, this post falls under the "indirectly, veiled or otherwise" category. Please look up the definition of "indirectly" and "veiled".

    "Bad Apple"?

Ah yes....a member of LE caught sewing his wild oats with a woman who takes money for pleasure......he's already lost his job and respect he had in the community because he broke a law that was on the books....and bond was set at $300....probably an allowable fine of not much more.

And I hope that he does get the "maximum punishment allowable by law"...even if it be for a "crime" that many don't feel should be....and is legal in at least one other state that I know of......but the law is the law....

Just like the laws on marijuana usage, possession, growing....etc.....

I hope those "BAD APPLES" get the maximum allowable punishment by law as well.

Triplethreat so I guess this isn't a direct address towards me right? A bunch of grown &[email protected] men complaining about what's posted and who's being addressed :rolleyes
I also PM tripleX yesterday about it and never received an answer.

There is a reason it is called the worlds oldest profession. Laws making it illegal have NEVER done anything to slow it down and instead, just drive it underground where abuses are more likely to occur.

Look at where it has been legalized and regulated. Way fewer incidents of abuse of sellers and buyers. Legislating morality never works.

    I couldn't agree more....with one exception:

    All laws are legislated morality.

Bullsheet, slavery was legal in this country less than 200 years ago, actually less, seems that Legislating morality worked, perhaps we can do the same for these poor girls.

Hell women were not allowed to vote until 1919, should we abolish that morality too.

I am so glad I moved out of my native North Miami,Florida. So sad to have to bail out of a once idyllic childhood neighborhood.
Not perfect of course- family friend and NM Mayor Thomas Sasso was embroiled in legal troubles. The pool at 125h named in his honor.
North Miami veterinarian Elton Gissendanner was named Fla DNR director during Governor Bob Graham era. Shucks....Elton got tangled up in legal too.

Are huge swaths of Dade & Broward county cursed?

I returned years later-sniffed around. Third World. Whirled.
The local grocery on 17th Ave. my sister and I used to walk to, for long strings of cheery licorice, was selling human hair, even weirder than the Christian church ceremonies of my youth.

In fact, the 'all white' North Miami of my childhood was certifiably more "diverse" than what I witnessed during the last visit.Jew,Italian.Most of us championed Civil Rights, school desegregation. Went from all white to all black.During my last visit it was amazing to see the kids at Westview Jr. High. Inevitable.
I did not dare walk the North Miami of my youth.
A buddy of mine remained for the longest time- way too long- when finally he was able to move out,he researched various state demographic stats, looking for the most predominantly 'white' states.

Back in the day Opa Locka was "Bad",don't recall Miami Gardens garnering such notoriety. Now the acknowledged "bad" areas extend well in to Broward County.
Hunters are present yet relatively uncommon in Florida :wink

That's a shame, but unfortunately it has happened in many areas across America....

In the late 50's crimes like murder in cities like Philadelphia were few and far between UNTIL organized crime started selling drugs in the inner cities and then burglary, armed robbery, murder...and their offshoot crimes became rampant....like prostitution .....simply to purchase more drugs....

....and with that ....unfortunately.....with that came police corruption......because without crimes you sure as hell can't have that.

This is why "my stance" is pretty much is "zero tolerance" towards any crime that's on the books......and that includes everyone.

To that chief of police in question....the only thing that I can say is..."Oh Well Bozo....I guess your clown days are over"......

Hidden camera records Coconut Creek cop receiving illegal 'massage'

This cop lied about the details of a marijuana arrest, failed to report how he tormented a suspect with his Taser, and claimed a three-hour lunch break lasted only one.

While his supervisors investigated his misdeeds, Coconut Creek Police Officer James Yacobellis kept drawing his nearly $90,000 annual salary. After 16 months of paid leave, they finally agreed to let him return to duty.

But within a year and a half, James Yacobellis was in trouble again.

It was a video-recorded massage — and its happy ending — that finally cost him his job.

The officer was caught in a sex act at the hands of a masseuse.
