Im trying to save ~$200 here. :banghead
I used to file online for free back when I was still in college. But, now I am married, 2 incomes, and a rental house...
I used to use Turbo Tax but now I go to a tax guy. He re-filed some of the returns I filed under Turbo Tax and he got me back a lot more money than I was paying him for the service.

Staring down the pin, downwind and needing to clear a bunker he commands his caddie to hand him his trusty pencil wedge. :grin
If you have a business you probably have no business using Turbo Tax. Everyone else, meh. $35 for premium and done. They are surprisingly very thorough. You just need to know how to answer the questions they throw out at you.

I use Turbo Tax every year. but i am single, no kids, no wife, smart. Turbo tax is super easy and thorough. Thorough as a professional? Dunno, but I also think those guys cheat the system a bit.
I dont get very big returns so paying a college dropout money to do it is dumb
