you ever set up a camera and watch your dog?

    You mean like this? *lol*

Our old lab figured out how to get the cardboard roll out of the toilet paper while it was on the roller.

Our yellow lab has been through years and years of allergy treatments. I told my wife I don't even want to know how much its cost. He was allergic to so many things that he had two serums for the shots we administered.

Moving from Georgia to Florida helped alot...much less pine pollen and etc.

He's a great dog, just looks like he was crossed with a raccoon because of the scaring around his eyes.

And then there is our 4yo german shepherd (Dexter) who has more patience with our daughters than I do at times...

To those with dogs having food/allergy issues, I will share some information obtained from Matthew J. Ryan (UPenn School of Veterinary Medicine). I took my chocolate lab there for a dermatology consult. She was licking her paws and having some outbreaks like acne. I learned from a dermatologist that there is one food known to have no allergic reactions to any dog. That food is sweat potato. If you suspect your dog is having allergy issues, skin or otherwise, put the dog ONLY on sweat potato food and treats. When you have the dog back to normal, you can then reintroduce one other type of food at a time. You can also have a skin test performed on your dog. Another thing many dogs suffer from is dust mite dander. This does not mean you rip out all your carpeting and replace with new. You will have dust mites again in no time. You can not get entirely rid of them. You can however significantly reduce the amount/load. We kept and keep a clean house and regulsrly vacuum. When I found out my girl was positive to dust mite dander, I researched what vacuum was best and/or had an allergy accreditation. A Dyson vacuum was found to be the solution for my dog and she in short order was again a happy girl. Sadly she is now gone. Many generations later, here is another chocolate lab who is related to her. She turns two this month.
