Went 30 miles out... only 69..water temps COLD! Caught only undersized seabass and a small sharpnose. Reefs weren't holding bait. Anyone Catching anything OFFShore? Guy at the ramps was bragging about catching flounder, sheepshead, and drum. I think im staying inshore for a while!

Better offshore than at work. This time of year is hit or miss. Give it a little longer and the fishing should start heating up again.

That happens sone times, at least you got out on the water. As you're bottom fishing do you free line any baits up on top?

I live to fish. Even the worst day fishin beats work! Haven't drifted any baits on top in a while, I should start. Most trips i jump around til i find the bite. Have so many spots, but not enough time. I usually spend at most 10 minutes if they ain't biting, move on.
