I had a friend come up from West Palm to do some fishing today. With the wind blowing I took him out in the skiff up the Sebastian River. The water was cold and the wind was picking up as the day went on. After a few lady fish we make our way up the river to get out of the wind. I had very little hope of hooking anything up there with the way the weather was. We were both casting a white hair jig with a Gulp when my friend hooks a nice 22" trout. 100 yards up river he hooks a 20" snook. Another 100 yards up I hook a 19" red. It was the first slam for the skiff this year. The wind was blowing, the water was cold and we were far up the river, but some how we got the three. I would never think that we would do it today.
