Everyone's eyes are different, there isn't a best lens any more than there is a best sneaker. I've found that the best lenses for my eyes and the work I do on the water is the Oakley VR-28 and the Smith optics igniter, very well suited for low light.

I prefer amber glass lenses in most inshore situations.

Sometimes along the beach in high-light situations I'll prefer a grey one, but I generally go for the amber.

I like glass...but depending on how bad your eyesight is ( I'm legally blind uncorrected) you may have to go plastic if you get large wrap-arounds.

Thank`s everyone I ordered a pair of the amber strike king s11. I will need them for my vacation coming up. I`am all ready for IRL Joe I got to get another slam. Now I have to get one of those funny hats to stay out of the sun.
