Several years back, one of our dispatchers received a call similiar in nature and caught on real quick as to what was going on... I happened to be the supervisor on duty that day and was first on scene.. Poor woman took a beating from her live in POS...

Not really. There will be copious amounts of drunk people who will see the ad and not get it. The PSA should be more direct.

I think an interesting question is did the NFL donate the tie ($$$) for the spot or did the organization have to pay the network?

the 90's was OK, the 80's was awesome....cable was introduced, mullets, hair bands, parachute pants, dope smokers (shoes), cars were cheap, gas was cheap, weed was cheap, beer was cheap, we weren't at war. At least it wasnt the 70's, watching the superbowl on a 13" b&w tv through UHF antenna wrapped with aluminum foil, trying to see the game through a half warped screen while holding the antenna.

Yes they did. The actual SB video is 30 seconds and would have cost 4.5 million. They just showed it on CNN and the reporter had obviously seen it for the first time. When it ended and came back to her, you could tell she was emotional. It's powerful....

I think the NFL cares more that it got exposed.

I record the game and start watching 30 minutes after it starts so I can fast forward through the commercials. Some people, like my wife, don't like that.

Who cares about the female reporter. The spot is directed at men. Who does the beating, Lucky, answer that.
