Tommy Speed: Long time fixture at BPK Fishing Lodge
Capt. Tom was a regular at BPK lodge for the past 30 years. He was usually there for May and June. He was larger than life with a pony-tail that was pushing 30 inches. When we first met many years ago he was a die hard tarpon/bone guy. It took some doing but we managed to covert him into a very good Blue Water angler as well. He passed away last month at his home in Georgia. Although we missed him the past two years in June, as he was unable to come down because he was caring for his ailing Mom and stepfather. There will always be a spot on the Liar`s Bench for him! You will be missed Speedman! Next time I roll over Wood`s Wall I will have a cold one for you my friend!
