The colder weather is driving pompano south

On the east coast of Florida Coco, Playlinda and Melbourne should be seeing concentrations of fish after this arctic front moves through. On the west coast, Sarasota and Ft.Myers should be hot spots. I will be at the Orlando Bass Pro Shop this weekend to talk about the migration and how to up your game to catch them from 10 am until they shut down the stage on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th. And if you can't make it to Orlando, try and come to the Florida Sportsman Expo in Ft. Myers on January 30th thru the 1st of February.
Thanks and see you on the beaches

still no #'s in Broward.....seems like we haven't had any real prolonged cold fronts this year....except maybe one moderate one that lasted 4 days or so. At least this weekend should see some stirred up water.....I'll try to pick one off.

Select anglers have been reporting catches of pomps on the beach but the coast line is so long that its still hit or miss if you can find them. Hopefully the run will kick in after this front passes.
