SI Mahi 12/19

Late report, gone for the weekend at the Dolphins game fellas, go Fins! Anyways, hit the inlet around 8:30 am on Friday and greeted to 2 footers, the inlet was so flat it was like summertime. Took the Dawg (new rig pic Duckman) out 34 knots to 180' and found a line with a couple other boats. My middle son, his uncle and I put 3 rods out with rigged ballyhoos and then 1 rod down with a planer with another big islander hoo skirt/ballyhoo. We ended up trolling from 10 am to 1 pm with 5 total dolphin, no wahoo or tuna. But, like beachsideandy had, there were skipjacks everywhere about 60 to 100 yards off the weedline in big schools blowing up what I guess were the flying fish? no clue what they were hitting but it was sweet!
