What another nail biter , GREAT game Gators!
The defense is for real.
A few thoughts:
UM has a quarterback, UF not so much
Winston sucked but still pulled it off, haters pile on:grin
Lots of punk moves on Gata sideline, three stupid personal fouls, usually that's the Noles losing their cool
What a BS call on Gata last drive, no way that was pass interference
What was Mushchamp thinking with play calling on last drive? That's a prime example of why he's not the coach.
Noles State Champs AGAIN! For me, this was the only game that matters, what happens from here on in is not important to me. Go Noles! Come on Gata, bring it:wink

I disagree with you on the QB statement. They had his hands tied all season since he took over. I would have taken the stops off along time ago and let him make his mistakes early and get the experience he needed to compete. They didn't even turn him loose today, until it was too late. They needed to change things up and not let the defense know what was coming, not 3 and out running into a wall all night. Again stupid play calling. But on a brighter note there is always tomorrow and we start a new day, with a new coach headed into town. All I can say is Go Gators.

Harris missed ALOT of simple open receivers, maybe it's the freshman jitters but the kid at UM looks like he's the real deal.
The difference is he had the ability to do what he needed all season. Harris not so much. They had his hands tied and then expected him to perform at peak tonight. It just does not happen like that. What are you telling him when you don't let him throw all season?

Great game by UF, when FSU ran off 21 straight points I thought the route was on. UF hung in there till the last. Spiny, I think you're right about Harris. They should have let him rip. I doubt they would have lost anymore games, and quite possibly won a couple more. Including todays. One way or the other, I'll take the w.
Thanks but I could care less about the playoffs, been there, done that last year and anybody with eyeballs can see we aren't that good this year, but beating UM/UF in same year is better than NC
I wasn't happy with the way Jameis played..........was the Gator D that tricky? And the punt block was pitiful. I was happy with the way the D handled the run game, with GT coming up..............

Yup....the D is the only reason the noles won.
Well actually 3 of those interceptions were just great plays by the Gator D. They have some awesome DBs so I give Jameis a pass there. Some of the play selection at crucial times seemed a little suspect but that could have been Jimbo. Running with a bad ankle and a big game next week did not seem so smart.................

UF played a GREAT game and deserves props. I give it to them whole heartedly. Personal fouls aside, they played some **** good football today.
The D won the game for the Noles today. At least two of the INTs that Jameis threw were no fault of his own - just **** good play by the UF DBs. If they had a complete offense, our win streak would be over.
If Florida State wins out, they have completed their second wire-to-wire season. I don't give a crap what ESecPN says.

Dang Dupe. Ive been thinking the same thing. Every Nole fan I know is all of the sudden an ACC fan. At least they can now understand what SEC pride is all about. The ACC has improved greatly in the last two years. Good. You're gonna need it because the SEC won't be down long!!

You didn't spot us anything. We earned it. Our defense has been lights out every game this year except for the Bama game. I cannot blame Harris either because our brain dead coaches have basically told him all year we don't trust you to throw the ball and them couldn't run last night. That left him no alternative but to throw it. They should have turned him lose early on in the season and let him take his lumps, but improved by learning from your mistakes. We flat out lost that game again last night due to conservative play calling. But hey a new day is dawning and we start fresh today with a new coach headed into Dodge. Go Gators.
