Windsplitter, Crusty, and a dozen Snook 11/24

Duane and I decided to take a quick few hours trip today. I'm glad there is always a Plan B when we fish. :) Plan A went in the toilet when we tried to fight the wind, tide, no water, and the weeds. Lots of weeds.

Moving to some areas that were sheltered from the wind we caught jacks, more ladyfish than we cared to, mangroves with some keepers in the bunch, a red, and lots of snook. We managed to put twelve snook in the boat losing more than that before touching the leader. Rough day keeping them hooked up. On the way back in Duane even managed a bass in the river but the jacks aren't there yet. I can't wait until the big ones start schooling up and busting bait.

All fish were caught on hard lures. Biggest two snook were 25, and smallest was around 16, so no snook dinner.

Nice day but the wind made it tough to do any boat control. A couple pictures to prove we went fishing. I'm a better photographer than Duane as both fish were about the same size. :)
