Cold but the bite was hot

Figured that with this cold weather the peacock would have lock jaw. Turns out they were hungrier than ever. Used an EP mangrove baitfish fly and the bass loved it. Also took my best friend who has never fly fished before and lent him one of my rods. Needless to say that after he hooked a few peacocks on a schminnow I tied, he was hooked! Nothing like sharing the sport and having some fun
