2013 Hobie Outback for sale $1400

The time has come to sell my 2013 Outback.

Reason for selling: Lower back problems make lifting and loading this kayak onto my roof rack literally painful. I am also saving up to purchase a 2015 model with the new seat which has better back support.

Background: I purchased this kayak new from Nautical Ventures last year at the end of October when they were moving to their new location. Since then it has been used once/twice a month. Kayak has very light wear on it and no rust on any of the metal fittings.

Outback comes with:
- An un-used (still in package) Hobie paddle
- Turbo fins
- Sailing rudder
- Mirage drive cassette plug will be included (never used it anyway)
- Original fins and rudder will be included
- Original bungies for "trunk" area
- Front hatch liner
- Small gear bucket for the 8" hatch
- The kayak has been wired for a fishfinder and includes a transducer for a non-dsi Lowrance Elite4 (fishfinder and battery not included)

Some may ask, what's the difference between a 2013 and a 2014?
2013 was the last model year before they added the molded-in receiver for the transducer. So I used one of the drain scuppers in the seat area to do a scupper mounted transducer. It's a fairly neat job and the transducer is exposed, but close enough to the hull not to get damaged by dragging it through the sand.

As for the paddle, it came with the kayak, but I still use an aluminum paddle I had bought separately. Never leave home without a paddle, even in a Hobie!:rotflmao
