10/27 Monday Madness Backside BPK

Due to my wife's broken foot we have not been down to BPK in a few months...I scored some nice bugs yesterday:grin battling the windy conditions and we decided to make a run out back to the channel early afternoon...no sea trout but what a great day, nothing huge but some very good quality mango snapper and respectable yellowtail :thumbsup...wifey landed a short but nice red grouper as well and we both caught a ton of grunts, porgies, jacks, etc....only kept the snapper and threw many more back. Lot of fun and just a gorgeous but windy blue sky day :). Hoping to get back in the water with the gun tomorrow...enjoy the pics and the rest of your Monday.

Well done. I'm having trouble finding the trout also.

We left monday morning to head back to Broward, but I looked longingly at the bay-side water that had FINALLY settled down... that wind was a real pain this weekend. Very jealous! Well done.

GaryM, you may recall we pass on the grunts...but more are out there for you!

Yeah, thanks for the comments, lucky to score a few nice fish on a blustery day. Headed south nearshore yesterday and got in the water, viz was very bad and never even took a shot with my gun. Heading out back again hoping for better conditions today.

Very nice. Yeah, nothing huge avg size 12 inches we throw all back below 11. I did see some huge ones freediving Wednesday but never took a shot.

Haha! Thanks! I only keep a few if the snappers are shy and/or the grunts are running up near the 12-13 inch range.
