Marco Island fishing

Heading over to Marco this weekend, not taking the kayaks but I dont want to pass up the chance to do some fishing. Can anyone recommend any good places to fish from land or from docks and what kind of baits to use? thank you all in advance

I was out last weekend and fishing was good but fished out of a boat. The snook are mostly off the beach. Not much help since I don't fish from land.

You should be able to pick up a few snook off the beach with a DOA shrimp in copper crush, pearl white or gold.

You want to fish both sides of the Jolley Bridge.Also Snook Inn dock area before 10am.

Dont overlook the beaches. Also, dont overlook fishing (especially night fishing) around the small bridges all over the isalnd that have access near them. Snook, snapper, sheepshead and just about all the inland species can be caught around them at some point. Good luck.
