Fished out of Chokoloskee Saturday morning. Launched at 7 to glass calm conditions, dead low tide, and temps in the high 60's. Perfect. While waiting for the tide to fill in, fished a couple oyster bars. Caught a couple small snook and finally got the bite we were looking for, 30 inch snook on topwater. Went back up into the inside as the morning progressed and caught a couple more snook. Also got a 10 lb. goliath. The snook are definitely around and biting during this transitional period. The redfish managed to elude us all day, saw a couple though. All in all a pretty good morning in paradise.
