CCA's Letter Regarding Amendment 40

Here is the letter from the law firm representing CCA (and recreational anglers) regarding Sector Segregation (Amendment 40).

It certainly has Gary Jarvis and other EDF-funded captains upset, and I'm sure there will be a LOT of whining and crying by these guys who have attempted to sell the rest of us down the river for their own economic benefit.

The letter does address many of the fundamental flaws of Sector Segregation, and mentions (multiple times) the obvious discrimination embraced by our federal fisheries service against private recreational anglers.

I personally do not see how the Gulf Council could possibly move forward with Sector Segregation in light of the many illegalities it presents, not to mention the great disparity in effort/landings/biomass data coming out of Alabama.
