Went out to the tower in hopes of permit. No luck. Boat next to me dragged in a 5' cobe. I tried that but couldn't get my baits past the cudas. Went east a little and jumped a spot I hadn't fished before. Good sized mangroves, some red grouper, barely short trigger, and a yellowtail. They were eating everything except squid, although it appeared they were puking up squid. They might look small, but the smallest snap is 12". Seas were flat-***.
