Sebastian 9/25

Was suppose to hunt ducks this AM but when my son called at 5 AM the weather was shaky for a very long run to our duck spot. Decided to cancel...but by 6:30 it looked like it was straightening out...decided to go play with fish.
The water is beyond bad...black in some places and high...with a hard incoming! Found a few finger mullet after a lot of looking.

I got a Trout at the first spot

but wanted to look at some other places with the water high......
After missing a hookset on another huge Red up shallow (that finger mullet was like a tic tac in a whales mouth)....
I saw a couple lockjawed big trout...and a couple GAR....Ya think there's some freshwater coming out the St. Sebastian? :grin
I finally got another chance but as luck would have it....the "small" one of the group is the one I hooked up...wound up being 32 inches.

Left there and on my way to the ramp got one more nice Red before heading in.

Many things to do.

Yeah with all the rain there is def fresh water in the Sebastian... been in there a few times and the water tasted very fresh after heavy rains.
