Sebastian 9/24

Well, After being off the water a week I went today....and it was not planned...after a week of 2-3 AM wake ups for scouting and then duck trips...I overslept today.
Pretty big changes with all this weather we had. First thing I noticed is the water is totally wrecked. Threw plastic for a while and went hitless. Netted a dz fingers and started looking for something interesting. I finally found some decent water and caught two big jacks. I was not wanting to use baits on them but the clouds had sight fishing very limited...but finally got 1 to bite...

Had to run for home when a bad storm blew up.....

Back to duck killin' in the AM

I had a few things to do this morning......saw the storm coming up from Vero. I knew that it was going to be a ***** and it was. Glad you made it back safe. Was looking what tomorrow will bring and it is already forming up, southeast of Miami.
Looks like a repeat of today.

Nice job on the reds. Went out for the first time in a while today at first light and fished from Round Island to Ft. Pierce. Got soaked by big rains but managed to put 4 snook in the skiff caught on topwater and Z-Man paddler tails.

Previous owner had a pop up cleat there...My brother "repaired" the hole...if he had charged me I would want a refund.

I have not eaten them...I age my birds 5 days before eating....but they are spectacular...when done properly...as good as the finest beef.
