Re-install center console

Picked up a little project. The console had been removed to replace the fuel tank. The T-Top has been re-installed but the console has not been secured to the deck. After that the t-top can also be bolted to it. Should I use 5200 or just a good silicone?

Theirs a great caulking with some adhesive qualities called "Boat-Life". I use it a lot. It's easy to work with, mildew resistant and removable if needed. I would not use 5200, because it's permanent and you'll tare things apart if you ever need to remove the console.

Second this. Strong, non-permanent. Cant go wrong with 3M.
