Are the Noles missing a defensive coordinator?

I missed the first of the game...........at a race. But I saw the 4th quarter and it looked like OSU was scoring at will. Meanwhile Pruitt at Ga is shutting down Clemson in the second half. And that is what a good Def. Coor. does. He sees what the offense is doing and he changes to stop it........during the game. If you don't have that skill you will get beat at times that you shouldn't.
We were good at that last year ...............we don't look so good at it anymore..............:banghead

I think it might be too soon to jump on the new guy. I thought he called a good defensive game, and maybe a few of the players were a bit hesitant at times or out of position. Hopefully he can get that corrected.

I need to look at the whole game. In the 4th the D looked tentative and on their heels with some weak hits especially on the QB when he ran it in................and was never put down. Not very D like..............

Well if they turn out to be one of the top 5 teams in the country, beat Oklahoma and establish a reputation for being lead by an offensive genius, I'll feel better...........:)

Recruiting is 90% of the game.
This time last year Noles -- even diehards here -- were at their wits end with Jimbo. Enter Jameis.
Now he's an offensive genius.

I think you are right after watching the whole game..............that and some fatigue at the end.
Plus we were seeing what it will be like to play Oregon with the elusive QB and the freakishly fast receiver/runner, 24. OSU will be a top 15 if not top 12 team by December. It was a good wake up call............
