Tried to go fish this evening & the trip was cut short due to what seems like a short in the trolling motor. This with the redfish bite about to turn on.
Anybody know of a fast, reliable place to take a trolling motor for repair in the Tallahassee area?

Thanks guys.
There is no plug it's just wired straight to the batteries. I'm thinking it has a short of some kind.
No trouble from me. If it were a fuse it just wouldn't be getting any power. It is getting power but the control isn't doing as it should. It wants to be in reverse on all settings. If you mess with it long enough you can usually get it into forward but if you slow it down you run the risk of spending 10 minutes trying to get it to go again.
This one happens to be a minnkota 70...in the car & going to the repair shop tomorrow.
Two thumbs up for TM Repair Center's customer service.
Dropped the motor off at lunch on Tuesday and he called an hour later to tell me what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair. He called back Wednesday @ 8AM to let me know the job was completed. He had the old parts there to show me what broke and how to avoid it in the future.
Can't say enough about the customer service.
