Did not see this comming.
I suspect he will not play again in the NFL, perhaps the CFL? Argonaughts?

I don't get it.

1. He was arguably the best defender on the team this preseason, albiet on the team with the deepest DL currently on the roster.

2. He didn't create a "media circus" as much as we thought, shoot Tebow's was MUCH WORSE while on Denver/NYJ/NE

3. He SHOULD get picked up by another team, namely one with a thin DL as I believe he is a "football player" and will be an asset to a team. At the very least he should be on the rams practice squad...

I am surprised nobody has picked him up and at the very least put him on a practice squad. He has good instincts for the ball ( no pun intended )

I think his mistake was making the announcement before the draft. Kissing his boyfriend on TV didn't help.

Seems waiting until after his first year would have been better.

While I agree with you, it was good he came out with it on his own. All of his teammates at Mizzou knew and it would have leaked in not so great of a way, more locker room tension etc. It was better for all parties involved to have all those cards on the table from the get-go.

Just my .02

He would have been drafted earlier and likely not cut by STL had he waited, however the long terms effects would be worse.
