Upper Fires Creek after a heavy rain. These guys know what they are doing! NOT recommended for amateurs. This ends about 3 miles from my NC place.

Yeah, those dudes are pretty ballsy. Seemed like they were taking the most challenging lines they could find all the way down the creek.

Whitewater is the most fun I have ever had. I met my wife while whitewater guiding on the Hudson and Moose rivers in upstate NY. While we were on vacation last week we did the river (Hudson) with my son so he could get a taste of what mom and dad used to do when we were young.

I just noticed the waterfall at 7:32 ends up being a side venture where another creek joins Fires Creek and not part of the main flow.
