Saw that Fins- big KO return to start the game( 3 hrs late) and another lightening delay. At least 30 more minutes before we start. Jeez!

Here is the bummer about not getting to finish the game, or even starting it for that matter.

According to the NCAA rule book, if a game is suspended before the end of the fourth period and cannot be resumed, there are four possible options:

1. Resume the game at a later date;
2. Terminate the game with a determined final score;
3. Forfeit of the game; or
4. Declare a no contest.

The athletics directors from both schools, in consultation with the coaches, must agree on one of the four options listed above. This agreement will include the final score if the game is terminated.

If the game is resumed, it will begin with the same time remaining and under the identical conditions of down, distance, field position and player eligibility.

You play Idaho in week one for a reason . There is no reason to play Idaho in week 10 especially if it's your only week off in 9 weeks. Plus it's the week before we play UGA which also has a bye week.
Muschamp probably doesn't want the replay but Foley will probably force it on our bye week. I hope not.

No game. Keep our Oct 25 bye week free. Foley will probably set a replay on that date.

It's easier to do that-- for him at least. Plus it would not be a loss financially. Harder to fix game ticket refunds w/o a game.

They have to replay the game, if they were competeing for an SEC title berth and one team has 1 more win (similiar record: 4-8 vs 3-8) who goes?

that case doesn't necessarily matter due to SEC record, not overall record. Overall record would count if there were ties and it goes by SEC teams first.

It wouldn't come down to that, but if by chance it did, they would know and make it up on that bye.

C'mon man.

If it were FSU I'd say the same **** thing. Muschamp has really cleaned up the program since Urban left, and does not allow the inmates to run the prison a la Meyer. However, this just isn't a good look IMHO. If UF was playing a real team next week, I get it...fine. However, they play western kentucky or something like that?

Let me say this: If FSU were playing Clemson I'd be less vocal about it, if FSU were playing the Citadel I'd say make 'em sit and be vocal about it.
