Anyone know the scoop on playing college football in Ireland? Seems like a huge waste of tax payer money.
PSU's D looks really weak.
7 zip PSU but UCF is knocking on the door in side the 5 yard line.

Those Irishmen like their blood sports of Rugby and Hurling so make American Foot will finally stick there.
If you need more than that ask Menzies.
They just said attendance is 15,000 people.
I doubt that covered the air cost.
It just doesn't make sense to me - especially at the college level. Didn't the NFL play some EU games? How did they work out?
Wouldn't you be the least bit upset if you was a student of Penn St - or would you treat it like any other road game?
Just seemed odd to me. Why do we care if Ireland plays football or not? Don't we have enough ***** to worry about here at home?

It is what businesses do, including NCAA football, expand their franchise. That is what the care is about.
Yes, treated as just another road game.......with a large time change.
that is all
So you are saying they are trying to recruit colleges in Ireland or EU to join the NCAA to play football?
What a nightmare that would be.

I said no such thing. But since you asked, I will speculate all that is desired is the eyeballs, for advertising revenue.
Did you really believe the AAC would be able to plat with the Big Ten?
Just another one of those games to transfer wealth to a lesser conference.
if not for a last minute kick that "lesser conference" team would have won
Still a "W" for the Big Ten.
