Anyone know the scoop on playing college football in Ireland? Seems like a huge waste of tax payer money.

It just doesn't make sense to me - especially at the college level. Didn't the NFL play some EU games? How did they work out?

Just seemed odd to me. Why do we care if Ireland plays football or not? Don't we have enough ***** to worry about here at home?

It is what businesses do, including NCAA football, expand their franchise. That is what the care is about.

I said no such thing. But since you asked, I will speculate all that is desired is the eyeballs, for advertising revenue.
