OK, this is where I get to brag a little >>>>>> CSU

I get it. I know you fellers don't care about my CSU Rams, but they had a good showing and a decisive win last night....against CU......on national TV.

We will take Saban's cast-offs any time. :grin

2012 was the last time CSU beat CU. The third season coach is the first coach to beat CU two out of three times in a long, ling time.

The series is decidedly lop-sided in CU's favor, though. >>>>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_Mountain_Showdown

Two different games were played last night - by both teams.

It looks like CSU needs to work on defense. It also looks like CSU has two marquee players who CSU better hope stay healthy.

Dee Hart, the transfer from Alabama was impressive. I am sure bringing his thoughts of "big boy football" from the Saban program, will do something good for CSU.

The QB, when he finally settle down could actually find the receiver. He was terrible the first quarter and a half.

CU's QB was impressive, but I think he got hurt. The one-handed catch by the receiver in the end zone was amazing. You can't coach that.

CSU continued the motivation from their winning from behind during the bowl game last January. Given the score it was a decisive win.

Also, last night I think I watched CSU run the ball more than in the entire rest of the time I have watched them. I am not aware of another game where two CSU backs have had 100+ yard games.

This morning's Fort Collins paper - multiple articles. >>> http://www.coloradoan.com/

Great headline on the front page of the Boulder Daily Camera. >>> http://www.dailycamera.com/

I have been watching CSU football for nearly 30 years. Many times with great disappointment but it always feels good to beat CU, no matter what happens the rest of the season.
