Indian River 8/29/14

All the conditions seemed perfect for some early morning top water action but couldn't get a pattern going. Hit some back bays and creeks early with only little trout and jack.

Moved to may favorite creek and found a gator trout on a DOA on incoming tide. Only small ones the rest of the day but overall a successful trip.

Yea the big trout on the right was caught this past June on topwater. I thought it was a juve tarpon at first until it got boat side. Surprised the hell outta me. Biggest trout I've caught to date

awesome Job! There seemed to be a lot of pilchards out all across the Titusville indian river lagoon today. So many that maybe the game fish have all had their filling?
