We went out in search of mahi. Found some scattered weeds at the weather buoy with a few boats already on it.
Worked it a couple hours and landed 3 wahoo. Lisa had a nice mahi on but it spit the hook on the second jump.
We decided to try for some grouper and ended up with 2 of these both just over 20 lbs
vented and released
Seas started out about 1' and only got better
Plan on trying again this weekend if the seas calm down after the storm goes by
I hope the east winds stack up some good weed lines

As of now, it looks like it will be rough...3-4'....but that changes daily!
