Posted on accident bf I got done writing.
Went out of hatch and headed north in search of some reds. Was welcomed w a school o about two hundred of them when we pulled up to the spot. Fished the same school for hours with two other boats. Fish were from 20-33 inches.
Yeah man, I lost my phone a while back and just never reloaded tapatalk and the forum. I've had a lot of awesome trips just haven't been sharing. Long as people like what I post and I get good feed back I will be posting a lot more. Thanks for the replys guys!
Must have been a big boat...with a lot of fishermen. Didn't know head boats did flounder gigging???
That had to require at least 10 giggermen to be legal. The FWC rule is that only one day's limit can be aboard, even if the trip spans two calendar days. You are NOT allowed to keep 20 flounder just because your trip goes from sunset on one day and ends past midnight the second day.
Even if you returned to the dock just before midnight and went out again after midnight, you still are fish hogs.
If people do what you did, there will no longer be the kind of fishery that would allow the most unscrupulous gigger to do what you did.

Maybe you need to read the regulations closer, smarty pants. The limit is 10 fish per angler. Tough to tell from the photo how many fish there are but it looks to be in the mid-30s. Three anglers plus one angler taking the picture equals 4 anglers for a limit of 40 fish. Seems to me they were within their legal limit. As the others have said, nice trip!
That pic that mixitup is referring to is actually from a two day trip and we were actually under our limit. Thanks vitz. I get sick of the dumb *** people on here commenting stupid **** about how I shouldn't have kept so many trout over 20" or I shouldn't have gigged so many flounder. I always fish within regulations. I have been checked by dnr countless times and have always been clear. It's not worth the fine to keep some fish. This is the reason I stopped posting my trips on here for almost two years. It's suppose to be a place u show pics and a story and help others be able to have trips as good as yours. If you have a negative comment to say about any of my posts just keep it to yourself please.
