North IRL 8-23

Just a quick report from Sat mornin. On the water by 630 and found some reds pretty quick. Only got one to eat but he spit the hook. We started making our way along and ended up stopping at a spot I had caught some recently and threw out cut bait. Ended up with one 29" red and a matching 29" trout. Caught some small to decent trout while we were searching for redfish. No pictures this time.

I fished around Titusville on Tuesday and Thursday as well and we managed to get a few reds and some smaller trout. Theres plenty of fish runnin around. Just not willing to eat all the time.
Its great to be a Florida Gator!

    Nicely done...

I went over to Pardon Island Sat, away from my normal areas. Not bad for first time in the area but not what I was looking for. Larger Tarpon 30" - 42/44" laying in skinny water. Hooked a few long enough for a few great Jumps. I saw a few Reds (small) and caught two trout (dinQs). Buddy landed a large Blue Fish and a few dinQ trout. I think I have a better feel for the area and know where a few deeper veins are located. Gonna hit that area again soon as this WIND lays down (8/25).
