Solo Night Fishing
With 2 hours to fish I headed north to Roberts Bay. This night I was using the fly rod with a white fly and a piece of rabbit to give it more action. Last week I found a really good light with tarpon, redfish, and snook but sadly that was not on. So I headed to another in a different canal that I know is good. That resulted in 2 eats and on landed snook small but I can't complain it was on the fly. Kept going in that canal and nothing the fish were not interested at all in my fly. With already a fish I went to another canal that has one light I know that fish eat every time I go. The perfect cast resulted in a good size snook for that light. With no time left I headed back home with another good solo mission. But I did have a question for fellow night fishing anglers in the water there is something that when stirred up it sparkles blue but it happens in canals towards the passes anyone else notice this:huh?
