Could be that the USACOE has FUBARED the river by nuking all the cleansing submerged aquatic vegetation from Jacksonville to Lake Harney. Considered that?

Was unaware of the dredging in that part of the river. The new carnage in Chicopit Bay hasn't really cranked up just yet. Does that answer your question to what I was referring to? :grin
FYI, I know fish camp operators that have told me horror stories about herbicide application. Pets and kids getting sick, etc in addition to the mushroom cloud wrecking havoc to the natural river habitat. Aquatic invasives have been in Florida for what, 70 years? They have become the natural habitat in conjunction with the native eel grasses. They also burn out the native dollar lillies and native coontail. Let's just turn everything into one big, muddy, muck bottomed jet ski pond. :mad
