I returned three permits and none showed up so they're being held for another date. Probably next Tuesday for the 10am Royal Rumble.

I wonder what the time delay is between return and availability? Someone turn in a trash permit for a romp and stomp and we'll watch for it.

The same thing that was told to Eric (eorlando ) was told to me from the same lady Katie , she was the one doing the manual permit returns and she clearly told me the returns would be available Aug 5 not today . Total BS !!!!!!

Wait...do we actually KNOW that any returned permits went out today? Phase III is FCFS for any permits not drawn in Phase I or II so there should've been permits available at 10am. Did anyone pull a FCFS permit for something that would've gone out in Phase I? Did anyone return a permit, see it show up in the system and now it's gone? Before we get our panties in a wad on day 1 let's make sure there's a legitimate problem (beyond any past problem or concerns with the system in general).

Apparently there were several archery permits available

yes all 15 of Dinner Island permits were returns and shouldn't been put today . My nephew returned one of those 15 and its gone now .

So were they all South Zone hunts that start next weekend? Or were there any for other zones?

Any returns going out today is unacceptable without some prior notice.

That I don't know. Im sure atleast a majority of them were...if not all of them.

James I don't know of other zones but the Dinner Island , Spirit of the Wild , and Ok slough were not left over from Phase 1 or 2 . Those were returned permits

That at least explains the situation. There's still no excuse for changing the rules without telling anyone. You guys in the South Zone...I feel for you.

The only permit I have is one that's currently available in Phase III so I can't help.

The ones returned on 7/30 were not in the drawing. In fact the return button wasn't even up until sometime after the 10am drawing took place. The only ones in the drawing were the manual returns for the couple of early archery hunts and the leftover ML and GG. One of the archery hunts (Babcock Ranch) starts this weekend so it would have gone to waste if it wasn't reissued on Weds.

I think that is the case as well. I agree the Babcock one should have been in there Wednesday but the others should have gone in Tuesday like they were supposed to. Why change it with no warning. No need at all to do that.

They did the same last year, wernt supposed to do return permits with first day of fcfs , but they did. I called and questioned and they said it was a mistake! But there was nothing they could do. Nothing surprises me anymore, I still think until they change the time from 10 am on a Tuesday to something more realistic,shows how ignorant the people are up there!

I see all the gun and ML and all other quota permits showing for next Tues, except for Archery ones. :scratchhead:

I see the same. Every other season has been updated except for archery. Seems like something is up.
