Spur of the moment

Made a plan with my buddy Jeremy to go hit the poons this morning but got together too late to get on that early morning bite.. So here is our spur of the moment back up plan :grin

Jeremy with a nice top slottie..

Really snotty storm that came through and ******d us out.. we were gonna run from it but decided to stick it out to see if it would cool and oxygenate the water and improve the bite..

At least one fish was hungry after the rain, and Jeremy found him lol..

Respectable 42" fish to end the day..

Jeremy schooled my **** lol.. Oddly enough I was on fire with the bluefish.. in the middle of july .. go figure :grin Still not a bad short trip considering the relentless SW blow of today..

Joe, it's a Freedom Hawk 12 and it's a really cool ride.. the pontoons are retractable for paddling and then spring out for stand up fishing.. Jeremy put the pontoons out and stood with both feet on one side on the gunnel and didn't even come close to dipping the gunnel under..
