Windy day on the bay. I got to the put in and thought about turning around. The whitecaps and chop looked like more then what this old man want to deal with. But after hour + drive I went for it. I got beat up on the flats and took cover on the lee side of the islands. Got a snook and then found a spot in big Miguel pass that was holding snappers. I caught about 30. Six we over 10 inches. The rest were 9-91/2. The paddle back against the wind was a workout and then on the last stretch it poured. It was kind of fun paddling in the rain with 15 mph winds in my face.

I was able to bring home a snack
