Peru Trip...Pictures

Not exactly sure why but my wife wanted to go to Peru this summer. So we did. Actually, she had a coworker do a backpack trip there and a parent of one of her students was from there so she had a lot of people telling her about it. We also had a good friend and his family who have taken the last year off from reality and literally traveled the globe and there were making their way up central america at the same time so we hooked up with them for a few days which was a good time.

We had a great time even though it was out of my normal "comfort zone" for travel. Traveled a lot of the country. From sea level in Lima to 4500 some odd meters. From Lima, to Paracas, to Ica, to Puno, to Cusco, to Machu Picchu. Didn't do the amazon area which would have been cool, just couldn't fit it in.
