Tates hell is named accordingly. I'd venture to say there are spots around there that haven't seen a human foot in 50 years. its a beautiful part of florida. the coast is gorgeous just south of there. good luck!
Yet they make it a quota area, never understood that.
......my Guess is,a state teaming in the Millions can muster demand even for Panhandle Surplus.................in fact, relative to Florida Population,we're all "Die Hards"
I witnessed the very beginnings of the "Saving" of Tate Hell-served on key Board at the time. My many inches of files might include acreage agreed to develop....no matter.
To the original poster......'scout' the place. You might move there! Afer all, that was The Grand Idea.
Hunters are present yet relatively uncommon in Florida :wink
Lake George gets run over by poachers quite a bit. Multiple access points makes it pretty easy for them. Pretty good road system. I've seen a few good deer in there, but I'd definitely put in quite a bit of time scouting there. Lots of good looking area. I'll be there for the second muzzleloader. Good luck. It's a very pretty place IMO.
