Well decided Friday to sneak out for a few hours to get into the last couple of hours of snapper fishing. I have gone the past 6 week ends on some sort of fishing trip so I had to go at night to free up the weekend. Of course I was up for 38 hours before crashing at 7pm last night[:D] AKA- Capt. Ironman.....
Beautiful Sunset cruising towards the inlet

Headed 28 miles out to 100'. Yes I know you south Fl guys dont have to go that far....
Lines in at 10:10- Fish up on first drop- Throw backs of course

Everyone had fish on board in the first few drops. My big snapper came on a flying fish head- Fresh bait!!!

We picked through many fish to land the 4 largest. We then moved to the Mango spot to see if we can add a few more fish. Time is now 1:15
Crew trying to figure out what they did with the anchor line! Had a few laughs

The last spot produced one mango and several nice B-Liners. The bite was getting better but it was time to leave. 3:50AM- After a hour run and a 40 min ideal ride we were loaded up and headed out. One crew had to be at work at 8am[xx(]...The ramp was a zoo at 5:30 with all the boys going out. Too crazy to get a picture. Ran into Child-Seaport as he was launching.

Tally:
Four reds-10.5, 14.5, 15 and 17
One Mango
hand full of B-Liners
Only a few sharks

I like nights in summer..the days are so hot it is almost unbearable in an open boat.
