Jupiter 6/28-29 Offshore

We headed 10 miles north both Saturday and Sunday. Made sure we were in that 81.4 degree water and 225-275ft.

Saturday was 30lb dolphin among bunches of little ones, only kept the big boy I still have plenty from the keys trip 2 weeks ago. Tons of those huge bonito, a PORPOISE took one which was a first for me.

Sunday same spot caught 2 Sailfish, both large resident sails is my guess. Bunches of Big bonitos and big sharks, no dolphin yesterday.

All were caught with live bait, 4' circle hooks and 40lb flouro, funny I had the 50lb mono and 6' circle hooks and minimal bites two weeks ago. Scaling down did the trick or at least made me feel like I did.

Pictures to follow....
