6/28 nice cow out of boca

Left boca inlet around 7:15..would have been out way earlier if the **** fuel docks opened before 7 on a weekend...

Got a few live baits and headed out in the 17 whaler in search of dolphin. Found a nice color change and scattered weeds in about 550 and decided to drop the baits in. First hit was a small cuda..

About 650 had a hit on the planer, one jump from a nice dolphin and broke off.. Ten minutes later had and hit on left long that just missed the hook somehow.

Another 20 minutes left long explodes and we're on. Fish makes a long run almost under some weekend Wally's boat decided to follow us way too close. He quickly understood he wasn't welcome.. About a 25 minute fight on the tld 25 and my buddy sinks the first gaff shot he got.

Fortunate to have found a fish this size from what I've heard lately. Fun day..made our way down south to spear on some reefs...nothing around, viz was pretty bad.
